Cubs rally to give Jon Lester much-deserved win

One day after suffering a meltdown in the eighth inning, the Cubs made a comeback of their own Saturday against the Cardinals.

Yes, they have James, but if he leaves next season (which has been highly speculated), then the Cavs don’t have much to work with. Billups isn’t one to turn down a challenge, but it just wasn’t worth it considering everything that’s involved.

“The whole LeBron leaving the next year, to be honest that didn’t bother me that much. Here’s why: when you have an opportunity to really put something together and put your imprint on it — rebuilding is a beautiful thing if the (owner) is going to have the patience with you. What bothered me more than if LeBron left or not was I didn’t think they had great assets if you have to do a rebuild. It was more that than Bron. Bron and I have always had an amazing relationship.”
Billups’ decision makes a lot more sense now than it did when he first turned them down. Instead of trying to revive a dying franchise, he has a job as an analyst at ESPN where he gets to remain in the sport.

There’s more where that came from (all of his quotes are worth reading), but the gist is: James is upset with Barkley, and isn’t taking that kind of talk from anyone.

His comments sparked reaction from people in the NBA community, from jokes to Cheap NFL Jerseys Good Quality analysis to more criticism of Barkley. Former players, writers, and just general Cheap Official Jerseys fans all had thoughts on the drama, which you can see below.
